When a child needs a safe place, ALALAY becomes their home.

Our protection program offers comprehensive care in foster homes (Aldeas) located in La Paz and Santa Cruz, where we provide education, health care, food, and psychosocial support in a family-like and loving environment. As part of this comprehensive approach, children and adolescents also receive art and music classes, which strengthen their emotional, creative, and social development.

Here, every child and adolescent receives the care and affection needed to rebuild their confidence and reach their full potential.

In coordination with the Offices of the Ombudsman for Children and Adolescents and the Juvenile Courts, we work to ensure their well-being and future.

We support their future through technical and college education, economic empowerment, the development of productive ventures, and job placement. We promote their autonomy and independence so that, above all, they can become agents of change capable of leading meaningful transformations in their communities.

My name is María, and I came to the ALALAY Homes when I was 7 years old—I was very little. At home, there was no food, no hugs—only abuse and loneliness. I had to learn to survive without ever really being a child, but at ALALAY everything changed. They welcomed me with love and taught me that I was worthy, that I could dream, study, and heal.
