We believe that lasting change is also built through public policy.
That is why, at ALALAY, we promote the Advocacy Program, which seeks to place the rights of vulnerable children and adolescents on the public agenda at the municipal, departmental, and national levels.
We actively participate in networks, campaigns, policy proposals, and communication initiatives that promote structural change.
ALALAY also works with legally established groups of children and adolescents, such as Student Governments and Municipal, Departmental, and Plurinational Committees, with the goal of involving children and adolescents in these advocacy processes for transformation.
Likewise, we strengthen the Offices of the Defender of Children and Adolescents, Departmental Social Services, the Defender of the village, and other public institutions dedicated to child protection.
In addition, we have the “Yo también cuento” (“I Matter Too”) network, made up of student leaders from our various programs.
Our commitment is clear: to be catalysts for dreams through politics and public action as well, so that every child and adolescent in Bolivia can live with dignity, safety, and love.
